Refunds & Returns

We want you to be totally satisfied with your Gorgeous Candles purchase. If for any reason you’re not, you may return it for a full refund or a replacement within 30 days of purchase.

Eligibility

  • Candles must be unused, in their original packaging, and include your order confirmation or proof of purchase.

  • We’re unable to refund postage & packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping. We recommend a tracked service.

How to start a return

  1. Email us at hello@gorgeouscandles.co.nz with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We’ll confirm next steps and share the return address.

  3. Please do not send items back without contacting us first—unauthorised returns may not be accepted.

Damages & issues

Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us within 48 hours at hello@gorgeouscandles.co.nz if an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect. Include photos so we can make it right quickly.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

  • Used candles or items not in their original packaging

  • Sale items and gift cards

Exchanges

If you’d like a different item, the fastest option is to return the original for a refund and place a new order once your return is accepted. If you prefer a replacement for the same item, let us know in your email and we’ll arrange it where stock allows.

Refunds

Once your return is received and checked, we’ll notify you of the approval. If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund.

Due to the nature of all things waxy - please be aware that there is a risk of your products melting slightly during transit, especially during those warmer summer months - this won't affect the life of your products, just be sure to let the wax cool and reharden before use.
